Very sick...

Tuesday, Oct. 14th at around 3 pm I found out that I am very sick.

I wont get into the details, but the last couple of days have been really hard for me.

I'm nervous, scared, and sad all at once.

I am only 24 years old.

It sucks.

scrapspace

I recently redid my room giving me a bit more space for all my scrappys.

I promised a video as soon as I could and here it is.

Sorry for all the hard breathing, and slowness, but I am really sick and in pain from this dumb gall bladder.

Clear Stamp storage

I always hear these questions on how people store their clear stamps. Well basically I used this system, but refined it, after I saw how Jennifer McGuire stores hers. So, here is a video... yes I ramble on and on, about how I store my clear stamps.

It also shows you all my clear stamps.

Enjoy!

Dreams really do come true...

Yes, I am signing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", because it's playing on Dj's  blog.

That girl is like my twin seperated at birth, except that we look nothing alike, yet I would kill to look like her.

If you don't read her blog, I suggest you do.

She just made the most amazing, deep post that I could of said too, however mine wouldn't of been so nicely written.

I love that girl.

Someone special, I won't say who, because I don't know if she wants me to, or not, talked me into getting back into project catwalk over at SIS.

I only competed for the first 2 weeks, and then gave up, because I didn't think I stood a chance.

But, I might have a chance to get my scores back into the top 25, and that is all I need to get into the finals.

And when finals start, everyone goes back to 0!

This week's challenge was HARD!

We had to design something that would fit into SIStv's style and with JJ's style.

Which my style is grungy and distressed and not so pretty, so this was hard for me.

I tried to keep it clean and simple, yet still "styled".

I chose the blue, white, and red colors that are on the SIS website.

TinaLynn510 Week 8

I think it looks better in person, but oh well.

Thanks to that person, again, who emailed me at the right time and talked me back into joining, by the way.

I don't think she reads my blog, but just in case.

Thank you.

And don't forget, leave me some questions, so I can answer them.

Kara style.

See last post, if confused! ;)

I wanna be like Kara when I grow up

If ya'll don't know Kara by now, then you must have been living under a rock.

But this girl is like one of those moments when you open the door, and things fall into place, and you hear angels singing.

She's like a gift from God.

True, and geniunely good.

She is amazing, and the things she says and does, and the fact that she is only 16 years old.

Is just jaw dropping.

But I seriously want to be this girl, more than you know.

She is like the definition of my cool.

Lately, she asked her blog readers to ask her questions.

Just random questions, about anything.

Scrappy, or un-scrappy.

So, I am stealing her thoughts, and asking my readers to do the same.

Ask 1 question, or 20 questions.

Anything and everything, seriously!!

Go!

Scrappy Daydreamer

I changed the name of my blog, which then cut all the links to the photos I had here on my blog.

Which stinks, but I was tired of it being called my weblog.

That was boring.

So now I am scrappy daydreamer!

Just so you know.

If there is a way to fix this, other than going back and reloading all those photos, someone let me know!

Inspired

Lately I've kind of been in a scrap slump.

I can't make anything that I like, and it seems that I am getting worse, instead of better.

Which sucks.

So, I took Sasha's Wacky Wed. Challenge over at SIS and I sat down on a mission.

Now this was a difficult challenge, because there were so many guidelines and rules, but that is also what made it so much fun.

This is what I came up with.

Scrapbook pages 001

I am really happy with the way it came together, and am quite proud of it.

Plus I used multiple photos, which is like a big fear of mine, because I can never get it to look right with so many photos on one page.

I am so a one photo a page kind of girl.

In other news, but still kinda related, Sasha  has really been cranking out some amazing stuff lately.

Her videos crack me up, and her work makes me wish I could watch her scrap.

I'm really into her style lately, and have been turning to her pages for inspiration.

She rocks, plain and simple.

Still on my Jennifer McGuire kick also.

She has amazing videos out too, and I am still watching them over and over again.

Alright, I guess that's enough blogging for today.

I am off to work, still very much sick, but I don't want to call in anymore.

Some scrappyness for you

As I mentioned in the earlier post, I had been really busy scrapping lately.

I've made a whole bunch of cards.

Way more than I realized, once I put them all together to photograph them.

I went a little crazy!

I photograph all my LOs on my fridge, but since these were all on white cardstock, I put a blue piece behind it.

That's why it looks odd.

I didn't post all the cards, because well that would be like 28 photos and that is a lot!

But the rest are all in my gallery over at SIS if you want to check them out!!

In other news, it's now almost 7 am, and I haven't slept yet.

Working overnights, has really screwed up my sleeping schedule.

I'm off to watch Penelope, for the 2nd time.

I ordered it on Pay per view the other night, all excited to watch it.

Then about 30 minutes in, it started storming, and we lost signal.

So, I lost my money and couldn't see the movie.

Just don't tell my mom I ordered it again.

lol

Sparatic like a duck

A little known fact about TL:

I go through cycles.

Cycles of liking certain things, and doing them a lot.

To cycles of not liking those same certain things and never doing them anymore.

Right now I am in a down cycle of the Internet.

I don't blog anymore.

I don't go on SIS.

I don't upload any of my work, which in my opinion is some of the best i've ever done, anymore.

I hardly even talk to people.

I really wish I would snap back into the liking it cycle, so we can get on with it.

I miss it.

I miss ya'll.

Another bad thing.

I've been spending way, way, way too much money lately.

I have bought so many scrap goodies in the last 2 weeks, that it's riduculous.

I blame this all on Jennifer McGuire, and her fabulousness.

I have become a tad obsessed with her the pase 3 weeks, and have watched all her videos at least 10 times each.

Which didn't help with the whole spending money thing, because I am pretty sure I now own every single item she has listed on her blog.

And i'm not exageratting.

I own almost ALL the hero arts stamps now.

I went a tad crazy.

But i've made some super cute cards too, so that makes up for it, right?

I also got my first album, and now have all my pages (the good ones) loaded into it.

I got the American Crafts D-ring album, and all the different sized page protectors.

I love it.

Any of you ever feel like looking at all these LOs and things online, makes you want to copy what other people are doing?

I think that is one of the reason's I stopped getting online so much.

I don't want to copy everyone else's style.

I want my own.

And I think that is why i've been enjoying my work so much lately, well my LOs that is.

My cards are totally Jennifer McGuire!

lol

I will leave you with some of my favorite, as of recently, products.

These are the things I keep reaching for, over and over again.

This adhesive is amazing!!

It's for the birds...

I haven't been online much lately.

News to you, right?

Ya'll have probably given up on me, and I understand, but if I ask nicely will you forgive me and come back?

I even have the winner to my RAK to announce.

You know, the one from like a month ago.

I didn't forget about it.

So, do you wanna know?

Okay, okay... *drum roll*

Steph, my love, LRF, you know who you are.

You won!

So, as some of you know, I started a photography business.

Stephy, my love, designed everything for me.

She even helped me come up with the name, and she made my business card.

I really owe her like my life by now.

She is amazing.

I think I shall marry her, except she is already married.

Damn.

I had my family reunion this weekend, which is well always interesting.

No, really it was a good time.

I took photos almost the whole time though, and loved it.

I even got paid!!

I'm excited.
